Compact flash is most popular and most common card type. There are CF 1 and CF 2 types of cards of which type 1 is classic type and type 2 is used for Microdrive moduls. Type 1 is especially popular because of its high reliability, low price, high speed, large memory, and only disadvantage are somewhat bigger dimensions.
